Terms of Service
1. The service
Callo (“Callo”, “we”, “us”) provides browser-based international voice calling on a pay-as-you-go prepaid model. By creating an account, signing in, or placing a call you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract in your jurisdiction. By using Callo you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Commit fraud, including chargeback fraud, identity fraud, or payment-card fraud against Callo, Paddle, or any third party.
- Abuse premium-rate, satellite, or revenue-share numbers; attempt traffic pumping; or otherwise game the cost-per-minute model.
- Place calls that are illegal under the law of the originating or terminating jurisdiction.
- Use Callo for automated dialing, robocalls, predictive dialing, telemarketing without prior consent, or any form of bulk outbound campaign.
- Harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate other people via Callo calls or any feature of the product.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass rate limits or fraud controls.
4. Prepaid credit
Your account holds a prepaid USD balance. Credit does not expire while your account is active. The balance is displayed in your dashboard and is deducted per call at the rates in force at the moment of dial.
Signup bonus credit (currently $1) is locked until you complete your first paid top-up. The bonus is not redeemable for cash and is non-refundable. Spending the bonus on a call after it unlocks is permitted, subject to the destinations rule below.
5. Prohibited destinations
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to block dialing to destinations we identify as high-risk for fraud, premium-rate abuse, or regulatory reasons. The list of blocked destinations may change without prior notice. Calls to blocked destinations will be refused before any deduction is made.
6. Rates & billing
The applicable per-minute rate for each destination is shown on the dialer before the call connects. Billing is computed by our voice carrier on connected calls and rounded according to their increment rules; in most destinations this is per-minute, billed at the start of each minute.
We may change rates with reasonable advance notice — typically by updating the published rate on callo.app/#rates. Continued use of the service after a rate change constitutes acceptance of the new rate.
7. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate an account at any time, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe it has been used for fraud, payment chargebacks, or any breach of these Terms. In such cases any remaining balance is forfeited. You may close your account voluntarily at any time from Settings → Danger zone.
8. Limitation of liability
Callo is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Callo is not liable for: failed calls, dropped calls, audio quality issues caused by your network or the destination carrier, scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, or any interruption originating outside our direct control (including Google, Paddle, our voice carrier, or upstream telecom networks).
Our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the lesser of (a) the total amount you paid Callo in the 90 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable international law. We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available in all locations. You are responsible for compliance with local laws where applicable.

Refund Policy
When you can get your money back
Callo is a prepaid service. We want refunds to feel fair without inviting abuse, so the policy is short and predictable:
- Unused balance from a top-up is fully refundable for 14 days from the original purchase date.
- Credit already spent on calls is non-refundable — once a call connects and the per-minute charge is deducted, that portion of your balance has been consumed.
- Signup bonus credit ($1) is non-refundable — it has no cash value and is granted as a product trial only.
- EU customers — your 14-day statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Rights Directive applies in full to any unused balance.
How to request a refund
- Email contact@callo.app with the subject line
Refund Request. - Include the email address you used to sign in with Google so we can locate your account.
- We review and approve eligible requests within 1 business day. Paddle then issues the refund to the original payment method — allow 5–10 business days for the funds to land, depending on your bank.
